On the night of 9/28 as I got my children ready for bed and in the tub, our house was targeted and shot up. The bullets pierced the walls of my children’s room, as well as mine and the hallway in between them both. There are a total of four holes in the wall. Thankful to God that nothing hit in the bathroom where they were playing in the tub and I was able to snatch them out of the tub and quickly laid over them on the floor. We had to go into the closet and as we sat I just prayed it wouldn’t be a home invasion and no bullets wouldn’t come where we had to hide because I couldn’t tell what direction they started. We are now displaced and cannot go back. I don’t feel safe there and I will not stay anywhere I am not comfortable at the expense of myself and my children’s lives. We need help moving our belongings and finding a safe space. Any amount big or small is greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
