My house burned down the day after surgery

Hi Fam and Friends,

this is really hard because I’m one who would prefer to be on the giving end vs the receiving end.

I returned home after being in the hospital for a week to my home being completely destroyed from a fire. I’ve lost all my belongings, have no where to recover from my injuries, and now am faced with medical bills, a shortage of income, no home yet a mortgage payment, and have to find an apartment because the insurance company estimates it could take well over a year to rebuild my home.

i never thought I’d be in this predicament. I am begging anyone in my life who has the resources and ability to help, to please help. This is by far the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced and right now, I’m not sure how to move forward.
