Hi friends and family,

Seventeen years ago, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Fiji for the first time, and my soul felt at home.

The kindness, joy, and warmth of the Fijian people made a lasting impression on me, and I’ve dreamed of the opportunity to return. Now, I have the chance to go back! But this time, with my son by my side, we will give back to the communities that gave me so much.

If you know our story, then you know how monumental this opportunity is for us. Ten years ago, I was 19 years old, living in a tent, 8 months pregnant, and being trafficked. I was terrified of being alive and bringing my son into this world.

Fast forward ten long challenging years, I’m sitting here, healthy, joyful, safe, and writing this.

We have learned so much about resilience and healing. Now, I want my son to experience what it means to show up for others, and I can’t think of a better place to do that than in the country that stole my heart so many years ago.
