My name is Joey Schuck and I've been going through some unprecedented levels of Hell and grave misfortune lately.

I'm homeless and hard of hearing and rely upon hearing aids to hear.

My hearing aids were in my backpack inside their drying case while i slept on the beach in south Florida.

I woke up and my bag was gone. Stolen.

I hate to be this person.

One that's too proud to ask for help especially with money.. I'm 3k away from changing my life for the best and getting it back and shocking every one that donates with the return..

Bc I'm a man of my word!

I loathe to grovel for money n help. I dont want anyones pity and i don't go around throwing pity parties and cry why me boo hoo.. Bc I know I've been dealt a tough hand with my hearing loss.

Bc there's always somebody else whose got it worse!

I own it and I'm grateful I hear at all with hearing aids..

I sack up and take my licks life doles out and rely on my faith in christ to see me through which also has taken a hit bc sometimes I don't feel like I'm in complete control of my own life.. like someone else is..

It's been constant struggle suffering in silence.

Opportunities to shine are few n far between so of course when i make my own opportunity to step up and seize my dreams some people had a major problem with it..

Lost my job

My home..

My dog died..

My car was taken..

I don't have anyone around me anymore..

Anyways..

I have dreams. Big dreams. Making music, movie etc. I was doing so good. I kept my head down worked my craft n paid my dues.

The money will go a long way to reclaiming my life and gaining success!

I'm 3 grand away from my best life! And you getting a rack bc when I succeed i will always remember those who helped pull me out of the darkness..

Nobody knows what's it's like to live completely dependent upon hearing aids bc I was born with profound hearing loss.

I have to work even harder to get anywhere as an artist trying to bare my heart and soul and let it shine out through my work!

I moved from Philly to Florida for a fresh start but unfortunately my life has gone from bad to worse as my hearing aids got stolen.

I'm walking around deaf. Living in a dirty homeless shelter..

Hearing aids are not cheap and they're my lifeline. I can't hear without them nor can I find the work I have been seeking down here much less even EAT!

I am essentially stone deaf without my hearing aids.

I'm raising money to get replacements first and to get myself back on my feet and find an affordable place to stay and work my music and getting steady employment bc nobody gonna hire me if I can't hear!

I'm stone sober. I'm not using money for illicit substances. I dont drink i don't smoke weed..

I simply want to work and I'm 3k away from achieving that goal!

I appreciate any and all help to reach my ultimate goal of stepping up on stage and deliver a show and get my dreams back...
