Hi, my name is Polly. Last October I was hospitalized for what we thought was low potassium. That was the beginning of my journey down a path that has ended with NASH (nonalcoholic stateohepatitis) cirrhosis, which is end stage liver disease. I also have chronic kidney disease (stage 3b out of 5). My entire body is affected, as is my brain, and I have many symptoms that require frequent tests and treatments like CAT scans, ultrasounds, EGDs and a delightful thing called paracentesis where they drain excess fluid from my abdomen every month or so. This past week I found out I have a fracture in my right hip which will require surgery to correct. Needless to say, in spite of insurance, bills are piling up. Being on a fixed income makes it hard to keep up with them, so any help would be appreciated. I know this past year has been hard for everyone, so I understand if you cannot give. Blessings and love to all.
