Hope for Patty
My name is Laura Gregoire and this is an urgent plea to help my dear friend Patty Seagraves, a true survivor.
Over the past weeks, the massive lava flow and toxic sulfur dioxide filled air from the epic eruption of the Kilauea Valcano suddenly forced Patty to frantically evacuate her home of eleven years in Pahoa, Hawaii.
With what little money she had from social security Patty flew to California to stay with friends temporarily, until the lava stopped flowing and the air quality improved. Unfortunately, Patty had to leave her three dogs (Hula, Sushi and Lilly) with someone else, until her return. But the lava continues to flow and her hopes of returning home have been lost in the destruction it has caused.
Now, Patty finds herself desperately needing to make a final tripback to the devasted Big Island to bring her dogs and her belongings with her to California in an effort to reestablish a new life, but she can’t begin to do that without you.
On the Island, Patty lived a very modest life. Just her and her three dogs. She has managed to get by through her amazing perseverance and her abiding FAITH in God.
Patty has a to do list when she returns to Hawaii and your donation will help with the following:
1. Buy travel kennels for each dog.
2. Take the dogs to the vet and get them exams and the necessary shots for canines transferring to the state of California, and Hula needs medication for seizures.
3. Box up her belongings and have them shipped to her in California.
4. Buy Airfare roundtrip for her, and one-way for her dogs.
5. Purchase a used car in California to help her start work as a house and pet sitter.
Please help Patty overcome this very sad and devastating event that none of us should ever have to endure, and give her the help she needs to bring her beloved Hula, Sushi and Lilly back with her to California so they can once again be reunited and begin to recover from all they left behind, together.
