On 21st September I’ll be running the Cheltenham Half Marathon to raise money for The Eve Appeal. The Eve Appeal is the UK’s leading national charity dedicated to raising awareness and funding research into the five gynaecological cancers: womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval, and vaginal. Their aim is to improve early detection, prevention, and treatment of these cancers, which collectively affect thousands of women every year. While I only discovered this charity recently, the cause is something very close to my heart. I sadly lost my granny last year to endometrial cancer. Running this half marathon is my way of honouring her memory and helping ensure that more women have the chance of early diagnosis and better outcomes. Any donations would be greatly appreciated !
