I’m starting this GoFundMe for my Mom and Grandma. As most of you know my mom has been my Grandmother's caregiver for the past 20 years. She gave up a 13 year career at the hospital to provide round the clock care for her and make sure my Grandmother never had to go into a nursing home. Every part of her day is dedicated to making sure my Grandma is taken care of. My Grandma went into the hospital 2 months ago for an outpatient procedure and unfortunately had an unrelated cardiac event where they found out 3 of her 4 heart valves were leaking. There were many complications and my Grandma is still in the hospital. My mom gets paid by the state to be my grandmas caregiver but because she has been hospitalized my Mom does not get paid. Not only are my Grandmothers medical bills piling up, which includes a 2 week ICU stay, but so are the monthly bills. I know times are difficult for many people but if you can donate please do. My Mom and Grandmother are two of the most giving and caring people and this help will mean the world to my family. I have always been extremely close with my grandmother, she has always been there for me when I needed it most so it’s my responsibility to get her what she needs. My grandma is one of the sweetest people and Its hard seeing her being put in this position.
