UPDATE 7/6/2020: We are revisiting this campaign with new funds going toward the acquisition of our first delivery van. In order to survive and better serve, we are (re)expanding our offering outside of our local area and our owner can no longer personally run the store, drive/deliver and work our markets while also keeping everything working behind the scenes. Due to greater lender restrictions and the financial hit we took during this pandemic, we have been (so far) unable to get a vehicle loan that wouldn't leave us in dire straights. If you are able and would like to directly support our efforts to buy a van, we greatly appreciate it.

We're a woman-owned and operated bakeshop serving Pennsylvania Dutch inspired baked treats (including breads, pies, cookies and pastries); made from scratch in our Pocono Lake HQ. We support other small businesses and independent artists by featuring and selling their products and creations. We also support our local food bank with a weekly donation because absolutely nothing goes to waste here at grandma's!

10% of our revenue goes directly to charitable organizations that grandma (and grandpa) would have supported -- including but not limited to education programs, seniors programs and organizations that support veterans and the arts in underprivileged communities. 

With family roots in Pennsylvania Dutch country, an upbringing in New York City and a previous career in global advertising operations, our owner (the granddaughter) is a modern day renaissance woman. She has enjoyed baking since childhood and puts her recipes to work on behalf of her community and to bring joy to our extended network of friends, family and colleagues across the United States.

*** Update: 10% of all funds raised during this campaign will be paid forward to our local food bank (Feeding Families Ministry) in Tobyhanna, PA. They are working diligently to feed and support the hungry, survivors of domestic violence, seniors and youth at risk as well as our community of homeless and veterans in need. We believe this is what grandma would have done during this time of great need and uncertainty. We exist to honor her legacy and her giving spirit. ***
