I will be doing a skydive on the 6th December in memory of my grandma and grandad.

My Grandad and Grandma were the light in every room they entered—warm, bright, and impossible to forget. They had a way of touching the hearts of everyone they met, not through grand gestures, but through genuine kindness, gentle humor, and the quiet strength they carried with them every day.

Even as dementia took pieces of them away, it could never dim the love they gave or the inspiration they left behind. Their lives—full of patience, courage, and compassion—showed me what it truly means to love deeply and live meaningfully.

I carry them with me in everything I do. Their smiles, their stories, their wisdom, and the unshakeable love they poured into our family continue to guide me everyday. I miss them everyday, but I’m endlessly grateful for the time we had and the imprint they left on my heart.

I love you both, more than words could ever say. Your light lives on in me
