Hi, My name is Jerry Owens, and I'm asking for much-needed help for my friend Justin. He's a former Police Officer who, after the death of George Floyd, could never consider re-entering the police force. After that, he became a plumber to feed his family and ended up only working 20 hrs a week due to covid and lack of work. I met him and offered him a job with me in maintenance, where he was making a slow recovery economically. Recently the house he was renting was sold out from under him, and now he has to pay $1000 more a month in rent. They had a beautiful daughter, who I am the godfather of. On his way to work, his car ultimately died [ blown engine ] on the side of the road. All this comes after his wife spent two weeks out of work due to Covid. This is a hard-working family whose carpet got pulled from under them and needs help immediately.
