My name is Catherine and that is my best friend Jake. He is healthy in all ways but has developed a condition called laryngeal paralysis. This condition is going to suffocate him if we don't give him medical intervention.

Jake wants to run and play. He wants to go on walks and enjoy the park...but he can't. We are basically to the point that even a walk to the food bowl is tuckering him out and can cause panting and wheezing. His condition has progressed at lighting speed in the past three weeks and his throat could close at any point now. My heart is breaking for him. It is not Jake's time just yet but he needs help fast.
