Hi my name is James Ryan-Spencer Spencer Shields (Jim). I am a left handed, agnostic, sapiosexual, metrosexual, multi-racial, independent party, libra, and a voracious avid reader. I am into art, fashion, chess, reading, writing, and technology as my personal hobbies. I have older parents. My mother Penny Lynn Mowen of Hagerstown, Maryland recently passed away in late September of 2023. My father Trent Rene Shields and his wife Deborah Boucher live currently in Inverness, Florida. My three sisters live across the states. However, my father recently moved back to Hagerstown, Maryland. One of them by the name of Katherine Blake Shields who is a South Hagerstown High School graduate currently lives here in Hagerstown, Maryland, Annie Williams who is a ln accomplished college graduate from Bryn Mawr college who currently lives in Westchester, Pennsylvania, and my other sister Luciana Bowen who currently resides in Winchester, Virginia. Two of my three sisters have children of their own. I have no wife or children currently. I am going through a plethora of issues emotionally and economically.

I took Introduction to Business Management and Organization along with a Marketing last fall 2023. I made an A and C in both classes. I have an old soul. I am a cool nerd which is like an oxymoron. My favorite color is yellow, book is the Night by Elie Wiesel, candy is Reese Cups, costume design, online shopping, and my favorite number is seven. I want to perpetuate my academic studies; and my love for learning. Specifically speaking, I need funding for some contemporary technology, books, and new fashion. I was in foster care in my late teen years. I am doing the best I can do with the hand that I am dealt, but it is exhausting trying to balance out life's various factors; and variables that one has no control over. I want to do maybe one more semester at Hagerstown Community College, then Towson to finish my Political Science degree, and then to Grad school. I have the originality, critical thinking, mind, creativity and the work ethic. However, the money to further my education would help me tremendously. If the political science field does not work, I plant to go into S.T.E.M. and maybe minor in Psych. In the meantime, I have a plethora of tasks to consider, while conquering common life sets backs. I have a love for learning.

My pops (or dad, but is mentioned a lot in the African -American community) made it to tenth grade; and my mom a high school. My pops or dad is from Winchester, Virginia and my mother is from Hagerstown, Maryland. My whole family is a heterogeneous mixture. I graduated high school and hold an Associates Science diploma from Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary. I have an Associates of Science in Liberal Arts Diploma. I started a Bachelor's Degree and am going to back to resume my studies, once I take care of my to do list here in Hagerstown, Maryland. After my entire time here in Maryland, I definitely want to go to graduate school. HBCU, DC, Boston, New Jersey, et cetera. My journey is my journey. Barack Hussein Obama, God, my family, my sister (Katie) Katherine Blake Shields, and my moms passing of cancer makes me want to keep going. Barack Obama once echoed , "Don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it. I do that every day. Asking for help isn't a sign of weakness, it's a sign of strength. It shows you have the courage to admit when you don't know something, and to learn something new." In essence, he is very valid.

Staying serious, positive, focused, and priorities first are what came to my mind in my own journey for what I went through and what I know. My education is my future period. I have This is very important to me. I am a work in progress with strong suits and weak points. This is apart of the human condition. The funds are going to be used sagaciously on my education and things I want to do. The return on investment is the key. My facebook is James Shields. I am a professional and look sharp. Any contributions would be a blessing because I do not have it like that. God is good all the time. Losers quit in life and that will not be me. As long as I have a plan that is all that matters no matter the obstacles. Again I have a winners mentality. My current section 8 plight augmented by my family and my mother Penny Lynn Mowen who was and still is my best friend. My mom is one of my ultimate motivations to get my life right and my priorities together. It is making sad just articulating this now. We have to come together to fix this world for the better. Unite and not divide like the masses wants us to. Thee is hope in America for a brighter future if we try.

Losers quit and I am not a quitter. I will overcome. Please pass this on to everyone you know or may know. I need all the help I can get and we as people need all the help we can get. I want to change the dialogue in this country across the board culturally, ethically, socially, economically, mentally, politically, morally, and socially. There has to be a demand in change and one can not stand aside to being back the days of old because they will not work or withstand in today's realm. We have to come together to change the narrative and no more fighting each other. Our future depends on it family or at least for the common every day person moving forward.
