This fall I have the incredible opportunity to go on my first missions trip in over a decade, something I've prayed about and hope for over many years.

I'll be joining an all men's team from my church headed to Guatemala, where we'll be working alongside local nonprofits, the church, and community members. We'll be helping with home projects, supporting ministry efforts, and doing whatever we can to be a blessing, both physically and spiritually.

It's been 12 years since I've been on a missions trip. Life has been full, raising a family, working hard, and staying faithful where I've been planted. But this trip feels like a holy invitation.

I'm not just going to 'do good', I'm going to grow, serve, and hopefully leave a piece of my heart there. I believe this trip will not only impact those we serve, but will be a time of spiritual renewal for me as well.
