Community leaders lost everything in a fire!

Hello all,

I present this GoFundme to you today with such a heavy heart. Two pillars of our community lost everything in a house fire and we need your help getting them back on their feet.

Below is a message written on their behalf:

"On April 3rd, 2023 at 4:30am, there was a severe fire in our apartment that left us with nothing. We’ve lost all our belongings from fire damage and are asking for all the help we can get. Goldie as a successful business owner, educator, holistic healer and teacher of the divine feminine has lost her whole business and entire office; a lot of machinery, natural herbs and plants for healing and materials for inventory were lost, a business that has grown and sustained woman of the community for 10 years by healing them naturally from the inside out was burnt to dust. Monique, the mouth peace to the black diaspora, community educator, writer and theater powerhouse lost collectibles, writers books, her recording studio etc. Laptops, electronics and clothing were burned to dust, leaving both Monique and Goldie without the needed tools and resources to get on with their daily tasks and work. As you can imagine as well, the physical, emotional and mental trauma is substantial; there were lives lost in the fire, Rah the Sun God, the fireball python, Tess, the Queen Priestess, and her 4 children, Shadow, Prince NUMS NUMS, Chaos and Sweet Sylvester didn’t make it. Our beloved animals cannot be replaced, but the goal will go to replacing what can be replaced in the meantime, as well as securing a place to live. We are calling on community to assist us in the process and pursuit in getting back on our feet after such a tragic and untimely event.
