My friend Laura is a real fighter for life

I am writing you today in support of our friend Laura and her family. 
PLEASE  PRAY  FOR  HER 
As many of you know, our friend Laura is facing a tough battle with cancer . Wife and mother of 2 - her son  in university and her teenager daughter in high school. We are seeking your support for our dear friend who is such a fighter for her life . 
Along with the incredible emotional stress for Laura and her family , CANCER is an overwhelming financial burden . 
I AM BEGGING YOU TO HELP any amount is greatly appreciated to her family facing such a devastating challenge . 
The family accumulated a large debt starting almost 2 years ago from  when Laura stopped working and concentrate on her treatments. 
Selling her  house could be their  last hope. 
Last year, I told Laura that I am thinking of doing a fundraising on her behalf, but for my surprise her response was « No, thank you, I am not there yet, they are so many people who need money more than me . I still have a roof over my head «  WOW what a honest person she is . So I respected her wish and did nothing. 
In the meantime, she was operated, she had  both chemo and radiations ....... she did everything the doctors told her......but in the beginning of 2019 she was  very, very weak and the doctor told her to prepare for palliative treatment. But Laura was once again strong and determined to not accept this option. She reminded  the doctors that she didn’t turn 50 YET ! And her concern free  life  should just begin now .....
«  I am willing to accept any treatment but not chemo and not palliative  «  were her words to her doctor. Like this, she was accepted to  Jewish General Hospital  in Montréal for further treatments in Targeted Therapy ( which  works by targeting the cancer`s specific genes , proteins or the tissues environment that contributes to cancer growth and survival ). For several months ,the treatment was going well giving Laura a better quality with her life . She was able to eat again, walk and enjoy life as much as possible, but her last results at beginning  of August 2019 left her again  with no hope when she was announced that they will stop the treatment due to her last results . Now more  determined  than ever, Laura didn’t lose any time and with her positive self , she put on her brave face and flew alone from Montréal to San Diego for further treatments at Tijuana Cancer treatments center in Mexico  ( C.H.I.P.S.A.) .  This time for a lot more $$$ that she was expecting . 
After 3 weeks of full day treatments, seven days a week and good  results , but with 35 000 $ US spent , she has to stay for further treatments . This time, as an out-patient, for 3 days a week,  without knowing for how much longer . It would be impossible for her to commute 3 days a week from Montréal.   ........HER ONLY HOPE .........is to stay there and continue with the program as long is necessary to recover and hopefully to change  the impossible into a       CANCER FREE survival .
