My friends family loss is a war crime - scenes from Gaza
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sinéad Andrews and I'm from Dublin, Ireland living in Paris, France. Last month my friend texted me to say she just found out that many of her family had been killed. They've lost everything. It's an impossible situation and helping one family feels like a drop in the ocean but I want to do something to make her know that people really do care.
One of her surviving nephews (aged 8) has lost his arm and leg so I hope we can help towards rehabilitating him. I will send the funds to a Western Union in Gaza for her father to pick up. It's likely that not all of the money will go straight into his hands due to commission rates of Western Union, but if we can get something to them, everything can help.
She wants to remain anonymous but please click on the link below to listen in to 20 minutes of a conversation we had last weekend to hear the details of events leading up to this tragic loss. CONTENT WARNING: This episode includes graphic descriptions of identifying loved ones.
