My friend Ed was hit by a train and hospitalized

I was recently devastated to hear that my dear friend Ed was struck by a freight train in Midtown Miami. Miraculously, he survived but has been hospitalized for over a week due to his numerous life-threatening injuries. He’s undergone 1 emergency surgery so far. Yet, his condition remains critical as the doctors struggle to stop the internal bleeding, while also trying to treat his pulmonary embolism and other issues that arise daily. The road for recovery is going to be long for Ed, he needs additional surgeries, rehabilitation, and extended physical therapy, to deal with his loss of independent mobility. There’s no doubt that this period of his life is going to be unbearably challenging for him. The sheer amount of medical bills, transportation costs to the many appointments coming his way, and all the unknown expenses that will arise so that he can survive without mobility. If Ed has ever told you a joke, explained a complicated newsworthy subject, or just put a smile on your face, we would really appreciate any help you can offer.
