Help for my friend Carmen in Costa Rica

Queridos amigos,

Esta es mi primera vez haciendo algo así, pero lo hago porque una muy buena amiga tiene una situación muy difícil y quiero pedirles su ayuda para sacarla adelante.

Carmen y yo somos amigas desde el colegio. Ella es una persona que siempre está dispuesta a extender su mano y ayudar a otros cuando sea necesario. En estos momentos, no está trabajando porque tiene problemas serios de salud. Esta semana tiene cirugía en los dos ojos y después tiene que ser operada de la rodilla y no está teniendo ingresos. Es muy duro llegar a cierta edad, encontrarse solo y no saber a quién acudir. Yo sé que muchos de ustedes no la conocen, pero igual quiero pedirles una pequeña ayuda para que pueda pasar estos próximos meses y pueda pagar sus cuentas mientras está recuperándose. Cualquiera ayuda que puedan hacer será recibida con muchísimo amor. Gracias a todos.❤️

Dear friends,

I’ve never done a GoFundMe before, but I do it now because I have a very dear friend who’s going through some very difficult times.

Carmen and I have been friends since high school in Costa Rica where she still lives. I know you don’t know her, but I can tell you that she is the kind of person who has always been there to extend help whenever someone is in need so now I would like to help her back. She hasn’t been working for a while because of medical issues so she has no income. This week she is having surgery on both eyes and then a knee surgery. This is why I’m reaching out to all of you to see if you might help me help her get through this next month so she can pay her bills and buy food. Hopefully, at some point, her Social Security will kick in, although in Costa Rica it’s not very much.

Any help at all, no matter how small, will be received with much love.
