My friend Ashley

Hi, my name is Lizzy and I was debating on making a go fund me, I know my friend wouldn’t be too happy about it. She’s not one to ask for anything. My best friend, Ashley was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last October. She started her chemo just a few weeks later and has been working the whole time through the process, but of course because of the side effects of chemo she’s had to miss a lot work. Just this last month she’s missed a ton of work and been in and out of the hospital. She’s finally finished her chemo and she will have a double mastectomy at the end of this month. She is a single mom doing an amazing job fighting this horrible battle. She has a wonderful supportive family, and great friends, but I wanted to try to help her in another way by taking off some of the burdens of getting bills paid and not having to worry so much about all of the work she’s missed. She’s kept her battle a secret to most until just recently when she finished her chemo. She is such a strong woman who I look up to, I can’t imagine going through something like this. They say God gives his biggest battles to his strongest soldiers and I believe that. So many women have dealt with this battle and many more will have to. There isn’t much you can say or do to lesson the fear someone goes through while fighting cancer, I know I never feel like I say the right thing or do enough to help. I just want to try, and I’m hoping she won’t be too mad at me after this. She said she never wanted to be considered a charity case, and she’s not. She’s inspiring!! As a mom, a friend and co-worker. She is loved by many and We just want to help.
