Dear friends, I have grown to know and respect this man, Abel Soto.
He works tirelessly to support his beautiful family. I have had the honor of having amazing conversations with Abel about family, life, politics and the love of horses. But I also saw an angel, a beaming light of good and human spirit, in this man.
Abel has been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer and had become very weak with the Chemo treatments he receives. Without health insurance he can only get treatments when he can pay for them and with the assistance of generous donation / non-profit based health services. Abel has grown very weak, but he has continued to work tirelessly to support his family. This past weekend he had a fall and hurt himself resulting in 2 surgeries. I cannot tell you how strong this man is. He represents a family man, a father, a worker, a friend and a superhero.
Please join me in assisting Abel and his family to buy food and pay their bills while he heals and when he cannot work. I have been immensely touched by his spirit, his intelligence, and his will to work through the worst of circumstances.
