Hi, my name is Sabrine Lamti, and I’m an international student working on my first short film, Absurdum, as part of a school project. This is a completely self-funded project, and I’m doing everything solo—writing, directing, filming, editing, and producing.
This film is more than just an assignment; it’s a chance to take my first step into filmmaking. If this short film works out, I hope to pursue filmmaking professionally in the future.
About the Film
Absurdum is a psychological, surreal short film exploring themes of repetition, existential absurdity, and breaking free from the cycle of meaninglessness. The film aims to make the audience question the absurdity of daily life.
Why I Need Your Help
Since this project is not funded in any way, I am raising $700 to cover:
Equipment Rentals (Microphone, Lighting, Misc. Gear)
Props & Set Design
Travel & Shooting Location Fees
How You Can Help
Every dollar makes a difference! Even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with friends, family, or anyone who supports indie filmmaking would mean the world to me.
As a thank-you:
⭐ All donors will be credited in the "Special Thanks" section of the film.
This project is deeply personal to me, and I’d love for you to be part of my first step into the world of filmmaking. Thank you for your support!
