Hi, my name is Robyn, and I’m starting a charity called The June Foundation — a project that’s very close to my heart.

The June Foundation will provide “My First Period Boxes” and an accompanying “My First Period Book” to young girls to help them understand their bodies, learn about menstruation, and feel confident and prepared for this important stage in their lives.

Each box will include essential feminine hygiene products and a friendly, educational guide that explains what to expect, how to use everything inside, and how to care for themselves during their period along with reassuring advice about puberty and growing up.

Growing up, I realised how many girls don’t have access to the right information or feel too embarrassed to ask questions about their periods. For some, there’s no one to talk to — and that can make something completely natural feel scary or shameful.

I want to change that.

The June Foundation’s mission is to make sure every girl feels supported, informed, and proud of her body. By starting the conversation early and providing practical help, we can give girls the confidence they deserve.

To officially register The June Foundation as a charity, I need to raise £5,000.

This will cover:

• Legal and registration costs

• Creating and printing the My First Period Book

• Producing the first set of My First Period Boxes

• Educational materials to share with schools

Once registered, we plan to visit schools, host Dress Down Days and fundraising events, and provide My First Period Boxes for sex and health education lessons — ensuring every girl has the resources and knowledge she needs.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help make this vision a reality.
