Hi everyone,

My name is Jared, and I’m reaching out for support as I work toward an amazing opportunity: competing at Nationals 2026 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. This event is something I’ve been dreaming about, training for, and working toward with everything I have but I can’t get there alone.

I’m currently a fulltime student living in Scarborough, and balancing school with training has already been a challenge. I’ve been actively searching for work to support myself and cover travel costs, but finding a job in my area has been incredibly difficult. With tuition, transit, and basic living expenses, saving up enough on my own just isn’t possible right now.

Nationals is more than just a competition for me it’s a chance to grow, to represent my community, my home gym and to take the next step toward my goals. Getting to Newfoundland requires covering travel, accommodations, registration fees, and other essential costs. Any support, no matter how small, brings me one step closer.
