My First LBJ Women's Campaign School Assignment
Donation protected
Hello Family and Friends,
I'm a member of the 5th Annual cohort of The University of Texas at Austin's LBJ Women's Campaign School. The ability to fundraise successfully is one of the most essential skills necessary to run for office and/or manage a political campaign, so the program encourages participants to fundraise the program costs.
I am accepting this challenge, and I hope that you'll help me earn an "A" on this first assignment (I'm not actually being graded, but, as an Associate Professor, framing this fundraiser in this way will motivate me).
I don't have any political aspirations, but I have many friends who are public officials and many more friends and students who plan to run for office in the future. Consequently, I am participating to learn how to manage campaigns so that I will have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to help deserving candidates succeed.
My goal is to raise the program fee of $1750, but I'd love to raise more. I will donate any amount exceeding the program fee to the LBJ Women's Campaign School.
PLEASE support my participation in the 5th cohort of the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affair's Women's Campaign School (and help me ace this first assignment) by making a donation before the April 19th deadline!
