My Final Push: A Senior’s Call for Help

My name is Kaniya Williams, and I am a Visual Effects major at SCAD. Over the years, I’ve poured my heart and soul into my education, balancing my studies with roles such as a Resident Mentor, a tutor for young children in my community, and a pharmacy technician.

I’m currently directing a senior film that holds the potential to open doors to incredible job opportunities. This project means so much to me, and it’s equally important to the team members who are depending on me. Their trust and dedication make this journey even more meaningful. To see this film through to the end, I need to stay at SCAD and finish my education. It’s the culmination of our hard work and the key to realizing the dreams we’ve all been working toward. Your support would make all of this possible.

Despite my dedication, I’m still facing financial challenges that prevent me from finishing my degree. Although I recently started a new job, it still won’t be enough to cover my tuition. With just two quarters left until graduation, I’m humbly asking for your help to complete my education.

My mom has been working tirelessly to support me, and I want to relieve some of her stress in these final months. She’s given everything she has to help me get this far, and I want to make sure her sacrifices were not in vain.

Please help me finish my journey at SCAD and make the most of the opportunity we’ve both worked so hard for. Your support would mean the world to me and would honor both my mother’s unwavering dedication and my own. Thank you for considering helping me reach this important milestone.
