After Covid, I have been fighting to get back on my feet. Going through the court process while simultaneously learning about tenants rights was difficult but, I do plan on moving on the extended date the property owner and I have agreed upon. Until that day, I will be saving!! With inflated costs of rent, I will need a deposit as well as first/last months rent. Also, moving my things without a personal means of transportation will require additional expenses.

I have learned that the court expects tenants to fold immediately, and even though its intimidating, i encourage all to stand up for yourself. Let the judge and the property owner know what you need from them, before you agree to anything!!
