My father’s terminal stage 4 Lung cancer

My name is Gia , and I’m reaching out during the most heartbreaking and difficult time of our lives. My father, Savvas has been diagnosed with terminal Stage 4 lung cancer, and we’ve been told he may only have a few months left to live. Our world has been shattered. We grew up without our mother, and our dad has been everything to us our only parent, our rock, our greatest source of strength and love. He’s the one who held us together through every challenge, and now he’s facing the biggest fight of his life.

Just two weeks ago, my father underwent a massive operation on his spine after the cancer aggressively spread there. The surgery was meant to relieve pressure and pain, but tragically, it left him paralyzed. Overnight, he lost the ability to walk .Watching the strongest man we know confined to a bed, unable to move, has been nothing short of heartbreaking. Despite the prognosis, we are still holding onto hope. There are treatments that could help extend his life and give us more precious time together but those treatments, along with the urgent medical care, in-home support, equipment, and hospice services he now needs, come at an enormous cost.

We are raising funds to give our dad the best possible care in the time he has left and to explore any treatments that might allow him to stay with us just a little longer. We want him to be comfortable, surrounded by love, and most importantly, treated with the dignity he so deeply deserves.
