My father's service truck tools robbed
Donation protected
Hello everyone, just recently someone(or some people) had robbed a lot of equipment from my father's service truck. He's a self employed diesel mechanic for big rig trucks and depends on a lot of these tools to work and to be honest it is just disheartening to know something like this has happened in times like these. From what we understand, someone came to my father's worksite(by a warehouse station for trucks to load and unload cargo) in the middle of the night and broke into a couple of the glove compartments and toolbox(red) and took as much equipment as possible leaving this mess for my father to discover the next morning. As to why the truck has been stationed there, his work truck has been totaled(unfixable now) and we had hoped to move all the equipment onto another vehicle that he'd hope to buy. In the meantime we were allowed to station the vehicle on this space. The perpetrators took about $3000+(or can be more from what I understand) total from kits and equipment my father has gathered throughout the years. The only thing we could do now is start over and try to recover as much as we possibly can and work with what we got. He will try to recover items on credit from a tool provider(SnapOn,etc). I am doing this GoFundMe on my father's behalf to help alleviate the financial burden this will cause.
He's an honest man trying to make a living! From as long as I can remember, he would work almost daily Monday-Sunday 7am-11am to 7pm-12am(under any weather condition!). His humbleness, knowledge, and experiences as a Mexican immigrant in this country have been huge motivations for me to finish college and had shown me the true meaning of hard work! I would appreciate any help, even sharing can go a long way too!
