My dad, Jose Luis (as seen in a white shirt), has recently celebrated his fifty-fifth birthday. He has been battling stage four renal cell carcinoma for over two years. Medical expenses and treatments have been complex for our family. He has asked to see his family in Mexico one last time. Trying to accommodate him has been challenging due to cancer eating his pelvic bone and hip, making it harder for him to sit for long periods of time.
