My Father Is Fighting for His Life—Please Help Us Save Him

I’m raising funds for my father, Stephen Truebody, who is fighting to survive after a series of life-threatening medical emergencies.

What began as a routine MRI quickly became devastating news: doctors discovered a brain tumor. Because my father did not have health insurance, he spent two long months in the hospital before he was finally able to receive surgery to remove the tumor.

After being discharged, he was rushed back to the hospital with a life-threatening brain bleed and severe infection. He underwent an emergency operation that saved his life. He is now in recovery—but his fight is far from over.

I haven’t seen my father in six years. Knowing he has been facing this alone is heartbreaking. Distance doesn’t lessen the love between a parent and child, and it shouldn’t prevent him from getting the support he desperately needs right now.
