Hi, my name is Gina Yu and my father (Joo Yeal Yu) broke his leg around his right ankle while visiting Korea to settle some family errands/affairs.

My dad is alone right now, causing our family a lot of worry and stress. His travel insurance with AMEX cannot be used because it only covers the first 25 days of travel.

My dad was supposed to get home a few weeks but the hospital says he'll need surgery and might need to stay in the hospital for a month.

With my upcoming wedding this winter this unexpected medical emergency has put my family in a difficult and stressful position. The doctors estimated the cost may be between 15k - 20k, but cannot give us a final invoice until he has his surgery.

Any amount would be appreciated in helping us get my dad back on his feet (literally) and back home to me and my mom.
