Hi my name is Gabrielle Mickley Crowe I'm reaching out for help this isn't something I would normally do I know everyone is struggling and trying to get by these days but I'm hoping and praying for a miracle. On Oct 27 2025 my husbands father passed away from an unexpected heart attack we unfortunately found him that morning and it was devastating especially for my mother in law and my husband and then 10 days later on Nov 6 my father passed away. He had been battling MS for years now n his body couldn't fight no longer. We did know his time would eventually come but no matter how much u try to prepare yourself for that it doesn't help when it actually happens. You always think you're going to have more time n then when someone passes you go through different stages and different feelings of mad n sad n the should haves or what if I did this or that. Why didn't I call or visit more. It's completely broken my heart. I'm only 34 I still need my daddy I still have so many 1st that I wanted him to be here for and I know people say he is at peace and his no longer a prisoner to his body bc he was completely bedridden had a catheter and was in diapers he could move his neck and arms a little bit even myself wouldnt want to live like that so I know he's free but I can't help but want to be selfish n want more time one more hug one more fone call one more joke. It's completely flipped my family and I upside down. We feel like we are in a nightmare waiting to wake up. It's hard trying to come up with money for one loved one but trying come up with money for 2 has been really tough. My father in law is paid for but we are so far behind on bills and now trying to help my mom for my father... And she has no income they solely relied on my father's disability check. She can get survivor or death benefits through social services but her appointment is not until December 26 n I'm sure they will end up closing that day so they will probably reschedule her and she has no income at all she will be eligible to take early ssi when she turns 62 but that's not til May of next year.
