Our father and his long battle with cancer
Donation protected
Our father, David Ephraim Cornelius Sparks, was diagnosed with cancer in 2015. We were torn by the news that he had to get treatment, both chemotherapy and radiation. He has since battled this beast on-and-off; he would go into remission and things would be fine and then the cancer would reappear. He fought long and hard but now we're sorrowful to say that we loss our father to his uncontrollable disease. He died in Avondale, AZ, but was born in Yuma in March of 1975. He served in the United States Army where he met my mother, Bernadine Tyler. My sister, Natalia Jasmeen Munyard and I, Omar Rasheed Sparks, are his only two biological children, but considered my brother, Tyris Rasheed Newton, his very own. He was great like that. His sister, Irene Sparks, lives in Pittsburgh, PA. and just two years ago, he loss his mother, my grandma, Dorris Lawson. He also loss his father, Duke Sparks, in 1997.
My sister and I need to make a trip to Arizona unexpectedly to settle his final affairs and to bury our loving pops. My sister will travel from Weatherford, TX. We are asking kindly for financial assistance to cover any costs associated with this unforeseen passing of our loved one. Your thoughts and prayers are certainly appreciated during our time of strife.
