My family recover from house fire

Hi, my name is Akaysha Duchek and I'm fundraising for my family in small-town Esterhazy who had a house fire on Aug 25, 2022.

Luckily, my family is all safe, but they are grieving the loss of the family cat, Luna, and their home due to the fire.

My mom Christine Duchek (47), step-dad Chris Haines (45), and brother Terris Duchek (18) have lost all their personal belongings due to smoke damage and have nowhere to stay after the complimentary 3-day hotel accommodations from Red Cross. With no insurance, they do not have the means to replace what is lost, and any help via this GoFundMe page will significantly help ease the burden they now have to face in recovering their home.

The money raised here will help cover any costs incurred from restoration services, the incoming bill from the fire department, food and water, temporary accommodations, potential renovations, and repurchasing personal belongings.
