Copying and pasting from my post on facebook. Idk what to do you guys. I feel like the universe is attacking me. So a few months ago my husband hurt his back and had to take a break from work. (He loads and unloads uhaul trucks for a living.) So I started running door dash and Postmates with our 4 kids because we can't afford daycare and he couldn't even get out of bed for a while. Our savings were dwendling but it was keeping us afloat. Well then the car we had broke down. So we used the last of our savings to pay up our bills for the month and my husband started working on the car after about 2 more weeks of healing. Well our landlord saw him working on the car and reminded us that it's in our lease that we can't have a non running vehicle on the property. We tried to explain to her that it's our daily driver and we just needed a few days to get it fixed. (we were having trouble getting the transmission to go back in.) We woke up the next morning to our car being towed out of our driveway with the transmission hanging out of it!!! So we borrowed money from my dad who really couldn't afford to loan us money to get the car out and turns out they did more damage towing it like that and the transmission was just laying on the ground under the car when we got there. We put the transmission in on the side of the road because we couldn't take it home if it wasn't running. And it was getting NO power! So we towed the car to my mother in laws and went home without a car. So we finally get our taxes and we buy a new vehicle from someone in one of my mom circles. She tells me there's not a thing wrong with it runs and drives perfect, like goes above and beyond to tell me that there's absolutely no problems.. We take it for a test drive it seems to be in great condition! So we buy it and my husband goes back to work. Not 3 days later the AC and heater stop working, we find short after short in the electrical. And then... It breaks down. I contact her to ask why she didn't disclose any of the problems it was having and she just blocks me. Immediately. So now we have it also parked at my mother in laws until we can afford the parts to fix it. I am so lost right now. I honestly don't know how we're going to get out of this hole. I'm $300 short on rent this month my electric is due, I'm in debt and the car parts we need are going to run us around $400. Me and my husband are fighting left and right because we're so stressed out and I know the kids are feeling the strain of everything. I'm going to lose my house you guys. Does anyone maybe know of any resources that may help me? Any rental assistance or utility assistance? I've called so many places and everyone says they are out of funds. I wish we would just catch a break so we could take a breath.
