My family is trapped in Gaza, help me get them out of death

Hello everyone,

My name is Louise, I am a french psychologist and I volunteer in an association called "Save Gaza Children", it is how I've been in contact with Abdul Rahman and his four children: Jana 12 years old, Siham 9 years old, Jamal 8 years old and Iyad 4 years old.

It was in June, when their mother and their little brother died under the bombings of the occupation. His 4 children witnessed their deaths, still suffering today from psychological and physical pain. Their house was destroyed, taking with it toys, clothes, memories and a roof to shelter. Their home is now tents, where the cold, insects, epidemics and infections assail them. The children still suffer from great night terrors today. Shrapnel from shells has entered the children's skin, seriously infecting them. Operations are still being carried out today, antibiotics are being prescribed but it is expensive, and the care is being provided with the few resources they have. Water problems are affecting the children's health, and the cold season is already approching today. Fever and flu are threatening the children's health even more. The absence of their mother and little brother, the constant bombings, malnutrition, lack of hygiene and care, mean that they now need our help.

The goal of this fundraiser is to allow them to evacuate Gaza and find shelter, where they can rebuild their lives and finally live again. Per person, they need $6,000 to cross the Egyptian border (there are 5 of them = $30,000), the remaining $20,000 will be used for current and future additional costs: medicines, operations, clothing, food... Life in Gaza is currently very expensive. No matter how much you give them, the value is inestimable. All donations will be returned to them in full, and we are committed to making regular updates to keep you informed of the fruits of your actions. Moral support is just as important, if you wish to write to them, know that all your messages will be communicated to them. Let us not forget their existence and their suffering, let us hear them.

Bonjour à toutes et à tous,

Je m’appelle Louise, je suis une psychologue française et je suis bénévole dans une association « Save Gaza Children », c’est ici que j’ai rencontré Abdul Rahman et ses quatre enfants : Jana 12 ans, Siham 9 ans, Jamal 8 ans et Iyad 4 ans.

C’était en juin, au moment où leur maman et leur petit frère sont décédés sous les bombardements de l’occupation. Ses 4 enfants ont été témoins de leurs morts, souffrant encore aujourd’hui de douleurs psychiques et physiques. Leur maison a été détruite, emportant avec elle jouets, vêtements, souvenirs et toit où s’abriter. Leur maison est devenue un abri sous les tentes, où le froid, les insectes, les épidémies et infections les assaillent. Les enfants souffrent encore aujourd’hui de grandes terreurs nocturnes. Des éclats d’obus sont rentrés sous la peau des enfants, les infectant gravement. Des opérations sont encore effectuées aujourd’hui, des antibiotiques sont prescris mais cela coûte cher, et les soins se font avec le peu de moyens qu’ils ont. Les problèmes liés à l’eau affectent la santé des enfants, et la saison froide arrive aujourd’hui à grands pas. La fièvre et la grippe menacent encore un peu plus l’état de santé des enfants. Le manque de leur maman et petit frère, les bombardements constants, la malnutrition, le manque d’hygiène et de soins, font qu’ils ont aujourd’hui besoin de notre aide.

L’objectif de cette cagnotte est de leur permettre d’évacuer Gaza et de se mettre à l’abri, où ils pourront se reconstruire et enfin revivre. Par personne, il nous faut compter 6 000 $ pour traverser la frontière égyptienne (ils sont 5 = 30 000 $), les 20 000 $ restant serviront aux frais supplémentaires actuels et futurs : médicaments, opérations, vêtements, nourritures... La vie à Gaza coûte actuellement très cher. Qu’importe la somme que vous leur transmettrez, la valeur est inestimable. Tous les dons leur seront reversés en intégralité, et nous nous engageons à faire des updates régulières pour vous tenir informés des fruits de vos actions. Le soutien moral est tout aussi important, si vous souhaitez leur écrire, sachez que tous vos messages leur seront communiqués. N’oublions pas leur existence et leur souffrance, entendons-les.
