My Family has 30 days before we are Homeless

Hi, my name is Norma, and I am a very good friend of Gladys King. Gladys lives right across the street from where I currently reside with my 2 young girls (4 and 8 years old) whereas, we only have less than 30 days to move out with nowhere to go.

Gladys and I met a while ago after I stupidly signed a prenuptial with my husband, and gave him all my savings ($30,000), to help us with our marriage. I fell in love with this man whom I felt in good faith would be a Great life partner.

I was so in love with my husband at that time, I would have signed anything to help build a life of togetherness.

Well to my surprise even after having kids for my partner, and being a loving wife, and mother to our kids

things happened during our marriage that turned out to be not-so-nice.

My husband allowed me to work with him throughout our marriage, with his business as a clerk until he fired me so he could rid himself of our marriage and our kids.

The bottom line is that during our marriage my husband became addicted to drugs, and the drug life. As a wife and partner, I tried to help my husband with these issues, yet he allowed the drugs to rule his life. He forced me to sign divorce papers with threats, verbal abuse, and physical violence. He also filed court papers against me and our kids to vacate the home we shared.

I have no job, no savings, and no place to flee. I am so lost at this time. Gladys has supported me mentally, and with provisions throughout this dilemma, including helping me generate this Go-Fund-Me page.

I pray that my story touches your heartstrings, understand what a mother has to do with nothing but 'God's will and prayers for strength' to survive.
