Help get my coach to Paris
Donation protected
Hey guys,
My name is Camryn Newton-Smith and I was recently selected on the Olympic team to represent Australia in the heptathlon which is an absolute dream come true. It’s been an incredibly long journey to make this team and is a goal I have been working towards for as long as I can remember.
I started track and field when I was 5 at Jimboomba Little Athletics and have always loved competing in all of the events. This made the heptathlon the obvious choice for me as I never saw myself specialising and ever just competing in one events.
The heptathlon at the Paris Olympic Games will span over 4 sessions two morning and two evening sessions that my family will be attending to watch me compete on the biggest stage of my life. The tickets for these sessions can be between 200€ to 500€ which can get very expensive very quickly.
We had budgeted for my mother and brother to buy tickets to watch the games. But have found out that my coach will not be receiving a coaches pass and will now need to purchase extra tickets. This was an expense we were not expecting.
So am graciously seeking help from all of you! Please donate whatever you can spare to help get my coach these tickets and if you aren’t in a position to donate sharing the link can do wonders as well. These funds will be going towards the ticket cost for my coach and any expense will cover his flights and accommodation.
Thank you so so much for your support. It means the world to me and my family.
