Before the war, we lived in northern Gaza, where my father was ill. But the violence forced us to flee south, especially to Deir al-Balah, leaving behind our home, which was tragically destroyed by the bombing.

My family consists of eight members, including three boys, three girls, my parents, and myself. After our house was reduced to rubble, we are now living in a makeshift tent that unfortunately collapsed during the heavy rains. Our living conditions are miserable; there is no electricity, and we cook our meals over fires.

The cost of living has skyrocketed, making it increasingly difficult to afford necessities like food and clean drinking water. Goods that were once affordable are now out of reach, exacerbating the hardships we face on a daily basis. Furthermore, the lack of proper sanitation has led to an increase in disease-carrying insects, exacerbating the health risks we already face due to malnutrition.
