Dear all,

My name is Abdullah Shala, a 25-year-old Palestinian from Gaza, currently living in Turkey. Throughout my life, I have known nothing but conflict and constant fear, but the real pain is not just in what I have endured—it is in what my family is facing today. Ten of my family members are trapped in Gaza, surrounded by devastation and danger. Our home was completely destroyed in an Israeli airstrike, and not only was it reduced to rubble, but it also caught fire, making it entirely uninhabitable. They have been left homeless, without safety, and without even the most basic necessities of life.

Despite being far from them, my heart and mind remain with them every moment. I live in a constant state of helplessness and fear, knowing they are in danger and desperately need help. But I cannot save them alone. That is why I am reaching out to you today, pleading for your support to help them escape to safety and start a new life away from the horrors of war.

My family includes my elderly parents, my brothers Ahmed and Muhammad, their wives Abeer and Noha, their three children Maher, Eileen, and Muhammad, and my younger brother Anas. Each of them is struggling under unbearable conditions, and every passing moment could be their last. The cost of evacuating each adult from Gaza is $5,800, while each child needs $2,500 for a travel permit, plus $500 for transportation and travel expenses from Gaza to Egypt. They will also need temporary housing in Egypt, which costs up to $700 per month, and they may have to stay there for more than two months before finding a permanent solution.

I know the amount needed is significant, but I also believe in the limitless kindness in your hearts and that hope is still possible because of you. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make an enormous difference—not just by saving their lives but by giving them a chance at a dignified life, free from fear and displacement. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing this plea could help reach someone who can provide assistance, making you a part of saving this family.

Mi nombre es Abdullah Shala, soy un palestino de 25 años de Gaza y actualmente vivo en Turquía.
