I've been accepted into a 5-day 50-hour intensive workshop that will not only further my personal development but also my career. I applied to the program with my fingers crossed and out of thousands of applicants, I was accepted! During the application process, I wasn't worried about the "how" I was going to make it happen, I just knew that if accepted, I would.
Now I must figure out the "how"! Hopefully, with your help, I will be able to secure my spot on the team.
I've taken some time to write a little about myself and the importance of this program to me. Most of you reading this already know me but maybe not to the depths that I've included in my story that follows. For those who don't know me, hopefully this will help in your decision to contribute to my cause.
My name is Tracie Eckel. I am a young 47-year-old on a life long journey of expansion. I live life to its fullest every chance I get. I view the world and the people in it with all the love I have in my heart. I appreciate all the incredible experiences in my life and I'm eager for more.
I have a passion to learn and an even deeper passion to teach. I'm fascinated with the human body and the many forms I come in contact with every day.
I've been blessed with knowing my purpose in life and I've managed to align it with what I do for a living. I work with people that suffer both physically and therefor at times, emotionally.
When I first started working in the field of health and wellness I thought having a hand in helping someone out of pain was the most gratifying thing I could do. I've learned over the years that helping them out of pain AND empowering with knowledge about their bodies is even better.
Knowledge is power and having a deeper understanding about the "why" will assist in the healing process exponentially.
I've spent years educating myself about the human body to be the best that I can at what I do. I've earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, hold multiple level certifications in personal training, I'm a licensed Massage therapist, a Nutrition Specialist through Cornell University and I've even trained to be an EMT. I have countless continuing education hours and I continue to study every chance I get.
Currently, I've been accepted into a program to be on a team of 4-6 individuals to perform a Human Cadaver dissection. I had the opportunity to study dissection in my undergraduate program and it provided me with information about the human body that has enhanced the quality of my practice in ways I can't describe.
After years of personal growth, hands on application and all the education I've had since then, there is no doubt this opportunity will be even more profound that the first. Not only will it provide me with a deeper understanding about the relationships within the body but it will also better equip me in treating and teaching my clients back to health.
The Break Down:
This is where I need your help. Tuition for the program and travel expenses are broken down below. The class is located in Newark, New Jersey and will require a 5 night stay
downtown where hotels are pricy and parking is $30 a day.

$1,000.00 Hotel and Parking
I must submit a $1000.00 deposit to secure my spot by February 15, 2018, the remaining tuition is due by March 15, 2018.
Your financial support in any amount will make a big difference in making it possible for me attend.
Thank you in advance for believing in me!
