My entire Onset-Tool kit was stolen Sunday night

Hey dudes, I came home this past Monday to find that my entire milwaukee onset & lead kit was stolen from my home. My bins, cases, tools, dollies, straps, pads, expendables, literally everything I've been accumulating over the past 7 years. I priced out with Home Depot the only power tools, dollies, and cases and I'm coming in at a little over $7000. I haven’t even begun with hardware & expendables.. I've filed a police report, but I'm not too confident that they'll have any progress. I've posted on Nextdoor hoping maybe someone saw something that might help, but I haven't heard anything back from it.

I recently moved to Newport Beach from Hollywood so I can be with my girlfriend and her amazing, beautiful little girl, Charlie full time. I've been blessed to be able to be part of this awesome little family, and to have the responsibility I do to help provide for us, inside & outside the house. I can't help but find the irony that nothing happened to me the 5 years I've lived in Hollywood, and I haven't been in Newport a year. This little girl is everything though, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I feel confident in saying that anyone who knows me, or has worked with me, would say that I pride myself in having just about every tool I need onset, and a couple extra just in case. I learned early on that its always better to have something you don't need, than need something you don't have, and I don't like getting caught empty handed. I'm extremely proud of my work ethic, and thankful for those that I've learned from, & I feel like my kit is a representation of that. I went through some really hard times, started from scratch, and somehow still managed to be able to keep my kit. My lady and I have been trying to move into a home, which means money is a big factor for a down payment, so this couldn't have been at a worser time.

I know Covid hit us all hard, a lot of us are still playing catch up and trying to bounce back from it, so I'm not expecting anything from anyone. Life just hit me really hard, and I'm trying to be better about asking for help, so this is it. Anything at all is more than appreciated, even if you can just share this with someone. I hope everyones been doing well, times have been weird and I feel like things aren't appreciated as much these days. Just like manners aren't mandatory, and common sense, isn't common.
