My elderly, disabled uncle was defrauded the other day. He has very high anxiety and when he received a phone call saying if he didn't pay he was going to jail for nine years he fell victim to this fraud. His anxiety went through the roof and he had a major anxiety attack, so he followed the instructions and ended up loosing the entirety of his social security check. He now has literally no money for food, medicine, and heat until he gets his next SS check, which is his only financial support. There is a reason these people target the older generation, they are easy targets. In hindsight he says he should have reached out to others for help, but at the very height of an anxiety attack, people don't think straight, they aren't rational. I am helping financially as much as I can, but I would be so very grateful for any support I can raise for him. Please help if you can, if you can't will you please share.
