My Dreams are High in the Sky- Flight School Fund

Hi, my name is Miles Johnson, and I have recently been accepted to Arizona State University, where I plan to pursue my dreams of becoming a Commercial Airline Pilot. Go Sun Devils!
In the spirit of those like the Tuskeegee Airmen, Jackie Robinson, and David Harris (the first African American Commercial Pilot), we need to continue to make the dream possible for more minority pilots to take command in the cockpit. There is a tremendous demand for additional pilots in the foreseeable future. However, for me (and many others), the financial barriers to obtaining the training and licensing to become commercial pilots far outweigh my financial means to make it happen.
The Aviation / Flight degree is one of the most expensive degrees on campus because it requires an additional $80-100K of flight training costs in addition to my bachelor's degree. I am currently applying for every flight training scholarship that I can find to help with college and flight training costs. But it is clear that I will need much more assistance than I am finding. That is why I am calling on the Aviation Community and Former Sun Devil Alums to help me make my dreams come true.
Every dollar brings me one step closer to my dream. I would be eternally grateful for your contribution, or any leads to other financial assistance that you can direct me to.
I look forward to serving your future travel needs on a commercial flight under the command of Captain Miles Johnson!
Thank you!
