Hello! My name is Beatriz, I’m 25 years old and I would like to ask for help to make my ultimate wish come true. Which is to become an English teacher in Spain and inspire kids to follow their dreams no matter what.

Recently I got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity - a job as an English teacher in Seville, South of Spain, a beautiful place with awesome culture and history.

Unfortunately, I cannot afford the initial costs of this opportunity on my own, as the prices are skyrocketing. I need your help to make it happen.

The main reason for my plea is that I must go all the way back home (Rio de Janeiro) from The Netherlands (where I am at this time) to secure my visa and then return to Spain to start the program. In addition, I need to afford the first 2 months of rent without my first paycheck. I also need to afford any additional documents for visa and immigration, and of course, the flights to and from Brazil to Seville. In total, this program will cost 4,000 euros.

A little bit about myself: I come from a very humble family from the favelas in Brazil. My mom is a single mother who sacrificed a lot to make me succeed as a person. My first experience as a teacher was teaching kids in favelas, in a small school. With time and much dedication, I started teaching in more established schools and then eventually applied to become an au pair. My love for kids and teaching deepened when I spent time as an au pair in the US and The Netherlands. The picture on this post shows my two most wonderful host families. These are those one-of-a-kind families that hosted me in their homes, showing me their cultures and adopting me as one of their own. Although they have done everything in their power to help me on my journey, taking care of me when I thought I was by myself, I still need a lot of help to make my dream a reality.
