I am Mahmoud, 5 years old. My dream and my mother’s dream was to settle in a house of our own, and my dream was for the house to be our own so that I could feel comfortable playing in it. Since I love my grandfather and grandmother so much, we decided to have our house next to them, because I love them so much.. I was waiting for us to finish our new house so that I could go. For school with my uncle, my father sold our car and we collected our money so that we could build the house of our dreams. And indeed, our dream began to come true and we built our dream house next to my grandfather and grandmother. We were all excited about when we would live in it, until the moment came when I saw our dream house destroyed. They bombed my grandfather’s house and my grandmother was martyred. The most precious person to me, my dear aunts and uncles.. and our house that we spent our lives in, and after there were simple finishes remaining, it was gone in the blink of an eye.. We have nothing left now, living in a tent with no shelter, no home, and no dreams.. I, Mahmoud, lost my dream and my mother’s dream, and I am still 5 years old. .

أنا محمود عمري 5 سنين كان حلمي وحلم ماما انو نستقر ببيت لحالنا وكان حلمي يكون البيت خاص فينا عشان اخد راحتي باللعب فيه ، ومن كثر ما أنا بحب دار سيدو قررنا نكون جيران دار سيدو ، عشان أنا بحبهم كثير .. كنت بستنى نخلص بيتنا الجديد عشان اروح الروضة مع عمو، باع بابا سيارتنا وجمعنا فلوسنا عشان نقدر نبني بيت احلامنا .. وفعلا بدأ حلمنا يتحقق وبنينا بيت احلامنا جنب بيت سيدو وتيتا وكلنا كنا متحمسين متى نسكن فيه ، لحد ما اجت اللحظة الي شفت فيه بيت احلامنا متدمر .. قصفو بيت سيدو وراحت تيتا اغلى حد وعماتي وعمامي الغاليين .. وبيتنا الي دفعنا فيه عمرنا وبعد ما كان باقي تشطيبات بسيطة راح بغمضة عين .. ما ظل النا اشي حاليا عايشين بخيمة لا مأوى ولا بيت ولا احلام .. أنا محمود فقدت حلمي وحلم ماما وانا لسة 5 سنين .. يا ريت اقدر احقق حلمنا من جديد ونرجع نبني بيت يأويني أنا وعيلتي .. ساعدونا نرجع لحياتنا من جديد
