My dog was shot in the face
Donation protected
Hi my name is Matthew, I am fundraising for my dog’s vet bills after he was shot in the face by a total stranger. My father owns a company in Redford Michigan and brings our dog Leo to work with him everyday. One day in Febuary around 3:00pm as my dad was closing up for the day he heard a gun shot from the front of his shop. He ran up front to find my dog shot by someone a customer sent to pick up a job. My dog is a pit bull mix and I can understand why people find him intimidating, but there is a dog warning sign on the door, and he barks to let my dad know that there is someone in the building. I don't understand why anyone would ever bring a gun into our building or why someone would shoot such a gentle loving creature, but the local police tell us there is nothing we can do and that he was within his rights to walk onto our property and shoot our dog. So needless to say our family has been very distraught for the last couple weeks. Thankfully Leo is ok, he had to get stitches twice and have 4 teeth removed, and now we are strapped with the bill. Any donations would be so greatly appreciated, we are like most American families living pay check to pay check and a 3500$ vet bill is something we would have never expected. Thank you so much for anyone who donates or just takes the time to read this story.
