My dog got hit by a neighbor

Hello, Im Maribel, On Friday unfortunately our 4 year old baby dog, Rocky got into a serious Motor Vehicle accident. We are fighting for his life. He needs a surgery on his right back leg due to a sever Fracture. Our family is devastated. On the evening by 5 or 6 pm I was helping my husband get his stuff from the back part of his truck and we don’t see Rocky going to the street and when my husband sees him he tells me and I call Rocky and he comes running to me but while he is coming a neighbor hits him, my husband tells the driver to stop the car and the man doesn’t stop the car and he hits Rocky but after he hits him he doesn’t stop the car. He stops the car after we tell him a lot of times to stop the car. After he stops the car I get Rocky from the bottom of the car but the man didn’t get down to tell us what happened he goes to his house. It was a very devastating time for us.
