My name's Sarah. I am 26 years old, and I live in Denver. For years, I've split my energy between helping others survive and trying to survive myself. I've spent countless hours helping unhoused people with supplies, motivational words, and moving their belongings before encampments get cleared—because nobody deserves to have everything they own thrown away.
Now, I'm in the middle of my own restart. I had to cut ties with nearly everyone I've known—friends, family, everyone—to stay focused on healing and staying clean. It's lonely, but it's what's keeping me alive. The one constant through all of it has been my dog. She's saved my life more times than I can count—especially during the darkest moments when I didn't think I'd make it through. She gives me a reason to keep showing up.
I'm asking for help to cover housing and basic essentials while I rebuild from the ground up. Every donation goes toward rent, food, and keeping a safe space for both of us while I get stable again.
I've always shown up for others when they had nothing left. This time, I'm asking for a little help to do the same for myself—and for the one who never gave up on me.
Thank you for reading, sharing, or donating. It truly means everything.
